Charlemagne

Interview with Charlemagne
Q: Who is your grandfather?
A: Charles "the Hammer" who took place in the Battle of Tours. He died in 768, and my brother and I split the kingdom.

Q: What happened to your brother?
A: He died, unfortunately. I then had the entire Roman Empire under my rule, and became the first Roman Empire in almost 200 years in 800.

Q: What did you do upon becoming emperor?
A: Tried to bring Rome out of the dark ages. I might not have succeeded, but I brought a little light back. Enough to bring hope.

Q: What were your acts?
A: At first I launched 50 military campaigns. Then I came up with this great idea to convert everyone to Christianity. Anyone who was not Christian was sentences to death. Harsh but affective, considering it united Rome, at least more than it was.

Q: what did you do after this?
A: I divided Rome into 350 countries. I would travel around and check country rulers, so I wasn't just stuck in a tower all the time. I also began a royal school where all classes were accepted, so everyone could get an education! I could also read and write!

Q:Thanks for your time! :)
