Interview with Constantine The Great.
Q: When were you emperor of Rome?
A: Beginning in 312.
Q: What made you.. great?
A: I converted to Christianity in 313! We use to kill the Christians for fun, and now Rome converted to Christianity. Pretty big stuff right there.
Q: Why did you convert?
A: Not many believe me, but I saw a sign. In my dream.
Q: Can you elaborate?
A: Well, it was during the battle when I was trying to reunite the western part of the Roman Empire. "In [my] sleep the Christ of God appeared to [me] with the sign which [I] had seen in the heavens, and commanded [me] to make a likeness of the sign which he had seen in the heavens, and to use it as a safe guard in all engagements with [my] enemies."
Q: And this changed your aspect?
A: Well of course. God told me I would be under the protection of the cross, so if I converted all of Rome would be under the protection too! It was my imperial duty!
Q: Thank-you so much for your insight fullness.
